Welcome to CSU!

Cambridge Sports Union - an orienteering club serving the greater Boston area.

In an orienteering race, competitors follow a course marked on their map; 15-20 checkpoints that must be visited in the correct order. Park Orienteering is well-suited for runners and navigators of all ability levels. To do well, you must run fast and think even faster-- don't waste time going the wrong way.  If it seems easy, you are going too slow!

The Cambridge Sports Union has three sections: Running, Cross-country Skiing, and Orienteering. Many members belong to multiple sections depending on their interests. The members of the orienteering section are national-caliber orienteers active in local and national events, and are becoming increasingly involved in organizing our own events.
